Learn an instrument — one song, eight weeks

Pick the instrument together. Pick one song. Play it for the family on week 8.

How to do it

Pick an instrument the kid is curious about — guitar, ukulele, harmonica, piano. Pick exactly one song you both want to learn (think Hallelujah on uke, Heart and Soul on piano). Twenty minutes a day, four days a week. Use YouTube lessons. Week 8, play it for the family. They will be bad. They will also be playing music with you.
