Wash the car together by hand

How to do it

Skip the drive-through wash. Fill a bucket with warm soapy water. Hose first, then sponge, top down so dirt runs off. Let them do the bumpers and the wheels. Dry with old t-shirts. You will both get soaked. Order pizza to eat in the still-clean car. It will be dirty again in a week and that's not the point.
