Go to a thrift store and find one weird thing each

How to do it

Drive to the nearest Goodwill or thrift shop. Each of you gets a five-dollar budget. The rule: find the single weirdest, most curious thing you can. Reconvene at the register. Present your finds out loud — what is it, what's its story, why did you pick it. Buy both. Display them on the kitchen counter for a week.
