You count odd, they count even. Don't lose the beat.

How to do it
Start a beat with your mouth. You say 1, they say 2, you 3, they 4 — alternating, on the beat. Get to 100 without breaking rhythm. Lose the beat, restart. Round two: skip count by 3s. Round three: backwards from 50. End on whichever round made them laugh most.
