Build a paper airplane that flies the whole hallway
Three designs. Race them. Fold the winner ten times.

How to do it
Look up three different paper airplane designs together — the dart, the glider, the boomerang. Fold one of each. Mark a start line at one end of the hallway. Race them in turn. Talk about why the winner flew further. Fold the winning design ten more times, slightly differently each time. Best of those is the family champion.
