Write a postcard to a kid in another country
Pick a country. Find a pen-pal program. Mail it on the way to school.

How to do it
Pick a country together — somewhere the kid is curious about. Look up a kid-friendly pen pal program (PenPal Schools or International Pen Friends are good). Write a real postcard: three things about your town, two questions you'd ask any kid your age. Address it together, stamp it, drop it in a real mailbox the next morning.
