Train for a 5k together — 8 weekends

Couch to 5k. Saturday mornings. Cross the finish line side by side.

How to do it

Sign up for a 5k race ~8 weeks out (try parkrun.us or a charity 5k). Saturday morning runs only. Week 1: walk-jog 20 min. Build by 5–10 min each week. Don't push pace — push showing up. On race day, finish together holding hands across the line if they're little. Frame the bib.
