How to do it
Use the Nestle Toll House recipe on the back of the chip bag. Read each line out loud. When you hit 'cream butter and sugar,' explain why (air pockets = lift). When you hit 'don't overmix the flour,' explain why (gluten = tough cookies). They'll remember the cookies. They'll also remember the why.
