Walking water rainbow
Six cups, three colors. Watch water climb against gravity.

How to do it
Line up six clear cups. Fill 1, 3, and 5 with water and a different color in each (red, yellow, blue). Fold paper towels into strips and bridge each pair of cups. Wait 20 minutes. The empty cups fill with new colors. Talk about capillary action — water climbing through tiny fibers.
